Jill Eckenrode: A Steelers fan since she was a little girl, Jill learned all about the game of football by watching games faithfully every Sunday with her dad and her younger brother. She never misses a Steeler game and refuses to watch games with groups of people (unless she is attending a game in person, of course) because it drives her crazy when people don't pay full attention to the game. Employed in the Office of Housing & Residence Life at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she also enjoys watching hockey and baseball, listening to music, reading, writing and politics. She is also a member of the Penns Manor School District's Board of Education and states she decided to run for the position because of her deep commitment and loyalty to the district and her belief that a sound education is the basis for every individual's success in life. She receives countless emails from Steeler fans all over the country and truly appreciates all of the people who read her column and visit the website on a faithful and consistent basis.
